The Park Pub has lived a rich beer history and a unique relationship with Woodland Park Zoo. It all began in 1993, when two guys named Mac and Jack became one of the first to brew an unfiltered and dry hopped amber ale specifically for Park Pub. It was named African Amber in relation to the zoo, became wildly popular, and the rest is history.

Established in the early 1990’s, the Park Pub has lived a rich beer history and a unique relationship with Woodland Park Zoo. It all began in 1993, when two guys named Mac and Jack became one of the first to brew an unfiltered and dry hopped amber ale specifically for Park Pub. It was named African Amber in relation to the zoo, became wildly popular, and the rest is history. Then in 2007, we were the first account to carry Two Beers Brewing who now produce nearly 6,000 barrels annually and have a sister company Seattle Cider. We rotate most of our 15 taps regularly but next time you stop in there is a good chance you will find Mac & Jack’s or Two Beers on tap!
